SUMMARY:2026 Winter Soundbath Healing
DESCRIPTION:Sound baths are back!\nIn previous years\, Just One has brought positivity and relaxation to our community through sound vibration healing. We invite you to join our upcoming sound baths in January and February led by local Indigenous woman\, Drea Rose. \nWhat is a sound bath?\nA sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are ‘bathed’ in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources\, including healing instruments\, such as gongs\, singing bowls\, percussion\, flutes\, chimes\, rattles\, tuning forks\, and even the human voice itself. \nA sound bath is typically a way of managing anxiety\, soothing the nervous system\, and blocking all the ideas and thoughts out of your consciousness as you connect with your body. \nWhat to expect\nWe will meet in our community space and have the heat on. There will be water and snacks available. \nThen\, we’ll get comfortable – either sitting or lying down\, eyes closed or open\, whatever makes you as comfortable as possible. If sitting on the floor poses challenges for you\, we will have chairs available. \nDrea will start with a smudge blessing and an ice breaker exercise to release stressful energy out and create space to bring in positive energy through sound. \nBefore you leave\, we will ask you to reflect on how you are feeling after the sound bath. \nThis class is suitable for all levels of experience. \nWhat to bring\nFor this experience\, you are welcome to bring any item you may have that brings you comfort – a crystal\, yoga mat\, stuffed animal\, blanket – whatever brings you joy and makes you comfortable. We will provide a few yoga mats\, but please feel free to bring your own. \nWhen\nWednesdays\, January and February 2026 (more details below) \nPrivate Party Sound baths (For you and your selected guests only)\nFirst three Wednesdays of January and February \n\nStarting 1/7/26 – 2/18/26\n\n1-hour sessions available at: 2:00 PM\, 3:30 PM\, 5:00 PM \n\nWe can host you and up to 7 of your favorite people (8 participants total)\, so bring your family and/or friends\nNo age restrictions\nLimited to one session per day to allow others to enjoy this activity\n\nOpen-to-the public Sound baths\n4th Wednesdays of the month (1/28/26 and 2/25/26) \n\n1-hr sessions starting at 2:00 pm and another at 5:00 pm\nAge restriction\n\nKids under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult\, who can participate too!\n\n\nWe can host up to 8 participants per group of this open to the public sound bath\nLimited to one session per day to allow others to enjoy this activity\nThis is an open-to-all\, meaning that registration is open to the public. There may be people already you know in attendance\, and also new people\n\nCancellation and No-Show Policy\nTo avoid a penalty\, you must cancel 48 hours before start time. DESCRIPTION:Come join in the fun at Just One!\nStaff are thrilled to invite youth back to our WALK-IN community center! We provide FREE daily projects\, and the opportunity connect with friends.\nMonday through Friday 3pm to 6pm\nOur programs are designed to meet the needs of school-aged youth 10 to 18 years old (with exceptions for special needs youth we accommodate older) in the 3 hours of after school. Our After School Programs include fun free activities while offering parents peace of mind by providing a safe and supportive place for children and youth to engage in activities that promote and develop positive values\, community contribution\, and explore career development. \nWe strive to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.\nBy partnering with parents/guardians\, volunteers and others in the community we hope for each child in our programs to achieve: \n-Higher aspirations\, greater confidence\, and healthy relationships\n-Avoidance of risky behaviors\n-Educational success \nSo rather its coming to Just One to hang out with positive role models or friends\, all are welcomed!\nInterested in being a part of Just One future programs?
