DESCRIPTION:We all have memories of going to the movie theater. Let’s make new ones together! \nThe excitement of waiting in anticipation for our favorite movie star to appear on the screen is exciting.  We will be taking the youth to the movies at Regal Theater at Northtown Mall. \nThe youth will meet at Glass Park and we will split everyone into small groups accomidated by staff. The movie will start between 12 pm and 3pm. Due to the range of starting times\, we may finish at a later time than anticipated. Please be flexible if this is the case. We will announce the movie as we approach the day of the event. Regal theatre is located on 4750 N Division St\, Spokane WA\, 99207 \n\n\nFirst\, make sure to make a parent account as discussed above.\n\n\nSecond\, register your youth under“Register For Summer Fun With Just One.”\n\n\nDrop-off is at 12 pm\n\n\nPick-up is at 3 pm\n\n\nPlease note that if your youth is not at Glass Park by 12:30 pm; then we will have to leave without them. Just One is partnering with Slingshot for a career oriented program that on this week we will take youth to visit local business to help inspire youth with the opportunity to navigate their interests after high school. Plus youth can earn money by learning about it! We provide FREE art projects\, and the opportunity to record in our small music studio FREE.\nEvery Tuesday & Thursday 3pm to 6pm\nThis program is designed to meet the needs of school-aged youth 10 to 18 years old (with exceptions for special needs youth we accommodate older) in the 3 hours of after school. Our After School Programs include fun free activities while offering parents peace of mind by providing a safe and supportive place for children and youth to engage in activities that promote and develop positive values\, community contribution\, and explore career development. \nWe strive to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.\nBy partnering with parents/guardians\, volunteers and others in the community we hope for each child in our program to achieve: \n-Higher aspirations\, greater confidence\, and healthy relationships\n-Avoidance of risky behaviors\n-Educational success \nSo rather its coming to Just One to hang out with positive role models or friends\, all are welcomed!\nInterested in being a part of Just One future programs? DESCRIPTION:Empowering the next generation of teens!\nIf you’re a teenager looking to build your own startup idea\, Slingshot is the perfect resource to help youth achieve that goal. Just One is partnering with Slingshot for a career oriented program that provides youth with the opportunity to navigate their interests are after high school. Slingshot has awesome and exclusive funding plus mentorship to jumpstart youths startup ideas! Plus youth can earn money by learning about it! If you attend one event you will win a gift card and if you come both Money Days you will get another gift card! \n\nYouth will meet up at Glass Park and from there take a short walk to our Just One Community Center one block away from glass park located at 4421 N Nevada Spokane\, WA 99207\nEach youth that attends will recieve a gift card at the end of the day! \n\n\n\nFirst\, make sure to make a parent account as discussed above.\n\n\nSecond\,  register your youth under“Register For Summer Fun With Just One.”\n\n\nDrop-off is at 12 pm\n\n\nPick-up is at 3 pm\n\n\nPlease note that if your youth is not at Glass Park by 12:30 pm; then we will have to leave without them. However\, you are more than welcome to email us the day of if your youth is running late and we can meet them outside event.\n\n\n\n\nAll Activities\, projects\, field trips\, and prizes are free\n\n\n\n\nLunch and snacks will be provided\n\n\n\n\nTransportation is is not provided\n\n\nBack Up Plan:\nIndoor activities\, or our famous “Projects in a Bag” will be provided in the event of bad weather. \nWhat is “Projects In A Bag”? \nAll youth who register for Just One’s Summer Programs will be put on the delivery list for “Projects in a bag”.   “Projects in a bag” are just that: projects with instructions and material to do at home. The bag will be dropped off  on your porch\, similar to what we did during covid-19. \nBags will be dropped off on your porch even if you are not home. We cannot guarantee when the bags will be dropped off  off because our staff puts the bags together that morning\, plans their routes\, split up\, and will make the deliveries that evening. \nTransportation for special needs accommodations:\n\nAre limited\, we ask for you to let us know ahead of time if needed! DESCRIPTION:Summertime is barbecue season and there’s no better way to entertain in the summer months than a casual get-together involving BBQ!\nWe invite all participants and their families to ride the summer fiesta train this summer. Every Friday we will have a free BBQ\, games\, and treats for all those who attend this fun\, casual\, easy-going\, and laid back atmosphere. We’re thrilled to have a professional rollerblader joining us on Fridays\, so don’t miss out on the chance to bring your skates and safety equipment with you.
