Every Friday\, Just One invites youth and their families to join us at Andrew Rypien Field for an afternoon of water games\, cool treats\, and unforgettable memories. Whether it’s water balloons\, sprinklers\, or surprise splash zones\, this is the perfect way to cool off and kick off the weekend. \nWhat to Do Next: \n\n\nMake sure you’ve register your youth under “Summer Fun With Just One” \n\n\nDrop-off is at 12 PM \n\n\nPick-up is at 3 PM \n\n\nTransportation Option:For youth who do not have transportation to Andrew Rypien Field\, we offer pickup and drop-off from Glass Park. Please arrive at Glass Park between 12:00–12:30 PM for the ride over. Youth will return to Glass Park between 2:45–3:15 PM.Due to limited seats\, we encourage families who can meet us directly at Andrew Rypien Field to please do so. \nGood to Know: \n\n\nAll activities\, field trips\, and prizes are free \n\n\nLunch and snacks are provided \n\n\nBring a swimsuit and sunscreen—you will get wet! \n\n\nBack-Up Plan:In the event of bad weather\, youth will still enjoy indoor fun or receive our beloved “Projects in a Bag.” \nWhat is “Projects in a Bag”?All registered youth are added to our delivery list for at-home activities. DESCRIPTION:We’ve made an exciting change for this Monday\, July 28th\nInstead of Get Air\, we’re heading to Splash Down! \nWe’re thrilled to be returning to Splash Down for the 4th year in a row\, and this year\, we have special transportation help from our awesome partners at Gonzaga Prep\, who are providing their bus to make this happen! \n\nUpdated Meet-Up Details\nIf you need transportation:\nMeet at Glass Park (627 E Heroy Ave)\nBe there by 11:30 AM\nWe leave at 12:00 PM sharp to head to Splash Down \nIf you have your own ride:\nMeet us at SplashDown Waterpark (11127 E Mission Ave Spokane Wa 99206)\nAnytime between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM to meet some staff \nBus kids from Glass Park will arrive by 12:30 and get checked in for a fun-filled day in the water! \n\n Very Important: Waivers Required!\nYour child must have a Splash Down waiver completed to attend.\nHere’s the link: Click Here For Waiver \nYou have a few options to return it: \n\nPrint it\, sign it\nBring a printed copy to us when dropping kids off\nMeet us at Splash Down and sign a copy there\n\n\nAge & Supervision Policy\nOur program is designed for ages 10 and up. \nIf your child is 8 or 9 years old\, they may attend only with an older chaperone (like a trusted older sibling or adult you assign).\nUnfortunately\, we cannot supervise children under 8\, but we’re happy to welcome them with a chaperone you trust. \n\nLeaving Early or Independently?\nPlease text us ahead of time if your child has permission to leave the group or wander on their own.\nIf a child leaves without prior notice\, we’ll text you right away. While we’ll always do our best to encourage them to stay with us for safety\, we legally cannot physically restrain any youth from leaving. \n\nPick-Up Info\nWe’ll leave Splash Down at 2:45 PM\, load the bus\, and return to Glass Park between 3:15pm – 3:30pm. \nIf you’re picking your child up from SplashDown\, please be there by 3:00 PM sharp. \n\nEverything Is Covered – Just Show Up!\nThis trip to Splash Down is completely FREE—thanks to our amazing supporters and partners! \nLunch will be provided.\nIf your child has food allergies or is a picky eater\, we recommend packing them a lunch just in case. \nPlease apply sunscreen before drop-off if that’s your preference. \n\nWhat to Bring: \n\nA towel\nOptional change of clothes\nSpending money if they’d like to buy extra snacks or items from the concession stand\n\nWe’ll make sure they’re taken care of—but a little preparation helps make the day even smoother! \n\nBack-Up Plan:\nIf weather gets in the way\, we’ll pivot to indoor activities or hand out our popular “Projects in a Bag.” \n\nWhat is “Projects in a Bag”?\nYouth registered for Just One’s Summer Programs will automatically be added to our delivery list for “Projects in a Bag”—a take-home bag filled with fun projects and step-by-step instructions.
