DESCRIPTION:Only 25 teenagers will be able to attend the Kayaking trip and the rest of us will meet Mobius at the North East Community Center \nJust One is teaming up with Spokane Parks & Recreation and the WA State Parks Kayaking Safety Program\, to bring your teenagers an exhilarating opportunity! So mark your calendars because this special experience kicks off earlier than our usual. DESCRIPTION:Plans for today is:\nWater Games  \nStyled like a ‘field day’ that many schools hold\, we divide youth into groups and have them go through a set of water games\, each designed to promote teamwork. At the end of the activities loop\, we have lunch\, and kids will have an hour to eat and make friends. Since our program is entirely outdoors (except when weather makes it impactable)\, our games are based on different kinds of physical activities. \nJust One outdoor summer activities are designed to encourage youth to collaborate with others in fun group activities. We provide opportunities for youth to work with friends\, new and old\, on games and projects intended to expand and develop their inner genius while also fostering creativity. \nHow it works:\nYou pick what days you want to attend\, weather its every Monday\, Wednesday and Fridays or only once a week — totally up to you!  \n\nRegister youth online under the calendar tab that says “Register For Summer Fun With Just One”\nDrop-off is 10 am.\nPick-up is 1 pm.\nGroups will be made of 6 to 12 youth supervised by 2 instructors.\nActivities\, project materials\, field trips and prizes also provided free.\nLunch and snacks all provided free.\nTransportation is available for the following zip codes: 99207\, 99217\, 99202\, 99205\, 99201\, 99204. SUMMARY:Kid Food Contest
DESCRIPTION:Plans for today is:\nNorth East Community Center\nDue to the forecasted heat for this day\, we have changed our plan to be indoors. Today\, Just One staff will be hosting a kids’ cooking show competition! Youth will be divided into small groups\, with a staff assigned to their group to help. In each round\, the groups will be given some ingredients and a time limit. Their task is to create the most delicious-looking dessert for our judges!\nAll the chosen recipes are no-bake\, and do not involve the use of sharp or dangerous materials. Youth will be preparing desserts only and will be supervised closely by staff members. Lunch will be provided at the end of the competition\, and\, of course\, they’ll get to eat their creations! \nJust One outdoor summer activities are designed to encourage youth to collaborate with others in fun group activities. We provide opportunities for youth to work with friends\, new and old\, on games and projects intended to expand and develop their inner genius while also fostering creativity. \nHow it works:\nYou pick what days you want to attend\, weather its every Monday\, Wednesday and Fridays or only once a week — totally up to you!  \n\nRegister youth online under the calendar tab that says “Register For Summer Fun With Just One”\nDrop-off is 10 am.\nPick-up is 1 pm.\nGroups will be made of 6 to 12 youth supervised by 2 instructors.\nActivities\, project materials\, field trips and prizes also provided free.\nLunch and snacks all provided free.\nTransportation is available for the following zip codes: 99207\, 99217\, 99202\, 99205\, 99201\, 99204. DESCRIPTION:Plans for today is:\nWater Games  \nStyled like a ‘field day’ that many schools hold\, we divide youth into groups and have them go through a set of water games\, each designed to promote teamwork. At the end of the activities loop\, we have lunch\, and kids will have an hour to eat and make friends.
