DESCRIPTION:We’re beyond excited to kick off another unforgettable summer with Just One Members! Whether you’re a returning family or joining us for the first time\, we’re thrilled to have you!\nAt Just One\, we believe every young person deserves a safe space to grow\, connect\, and just be. Our programs are designed to remove barriers and create meaningful opportunities—at no cost to families. Whether it’s in our after-school program\, summer sessions\, or holiday events\, we’re here to build memories\, connect friendships\, and spark joy.\nThis year is packed with fun-filled field trips\, new adventures\, and plenty of laughter—we can’t wait to share it all with you!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow It Works\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Summer Fun with Just One program runs from July 7th to August 22rd. Each day is packed with exciting field trips\, hands-on activities\, and opportunities to build friendships! \nAge Guidelines:Our program is designed for youth ages 10 and up.\nProgram Days & Times: \n\n\nMondays\, Wednesdays\, and Fridays – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM \n\n\nAll completely free\, with lunch provided!\nWhere to Meet:We meet at Glass Park (627 E Heroy Ave)\, just one block away from our Just One facility (4421 N Nevada St). This central location is where we’ll meet before walking\, taking the city bus\, using arranged transportation\, or—when needed—asking you to meet us directly at one of our field trip locations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n Heat Wave or Smoke Alerts! \nIf temperatures get dangerously high or there’s heavy smoke in the air\, we will either meet indoors or transition to our “Projects in a Bag” option. (This is one of the reasons we may ask you to meet us directly at the field trip location)\nWhat is “Project in a Bag”?It’s our fun and creative way to keep the kids engaged even when we can’t meet in person! Each bag includes a uncompleted project with easy-to-follow instructions and all the supplies needed for a hands-on activity your kiddo can do at home. These are designed to be fun\, educational\, and something the whole family can enjoy together. \nWe’ll deliver these bags to participants within the following zip codes: 99207\, 99205\, 99202\, 99201\, 99204 and parts of 99217.(Unfortunately\, we’re not able to deliver outside of these areas.) \nCheck your email and text messages the day before or morning of each  event dates about location changes or if we’re switching to “Project in a Bag”. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat’s Planned This Summer?\nWe’ve packed this summer with fun\, local adventures your youth won’t want to miss! Each week brings something new\, and we rotate activities to keep things fresh and exciting. Some of the awesome experiences we have planned include: \n\n\nMovies – Catch a film with friends at Regal Theater \n\n\nHillyard Community Pool – Cool off and splash around \n\n\nBowling – Knock down some pins and cheer each other on \n\n\nGet Air Trampoline Park – Jump into fun and burn off energy \n\n\nPark Days – Water activities\, group games\, and hands-on projects every Friday \n\n\nThrift Shopping – Budgeting fun with our youth \n\n\nSurprise Projects & Special Guests \n\n\nWant to know what’s happening each day?Click here to view our Summer Calendar and get the full rundown of events. DESCRIPTION:Bounce into Fun – Get Air Trampoline Park Field Trip!\nFrom flips to slam dunks\, this field trip is all about fun\, movement\, and letting loose!We’re heading to Get Air Trampoline Park\, where youth will jump\, bounce\, and laugh their way through thousands of square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines. They’ll explore vertical trampolines\, a dodgeball court\, individual jump zones\, and trampoline lanes that give them the air to throw down a serious slam dunk! \nIt’s an energizing and exciting way to get moving—and yes\, exercise can be fun! \nYouth will meet inside Get Air by the east doors near the parking lot for check-in.The event will run from 12 PM to 3 PM. Due to the weather\, we will not be walking to the location. Whether it’s water balloons\, sprinklers\, or surprise splash zones\, this is the perfect way to cool off and kick off the weekend. \nWhat to Do Next: \n\n\nMake sure you’ve register your youth under “Summer Fun With Just One” \n\n\nDrop-off is at 12 PM \n\n\nPick-up is at 3 PM \n\n\nTransportation Option:For youth who do not have transportation to Andrew Rypien Field\, we offer pickup and drop-off from Glass Park. Please arrive at Glass Park between 12:00–12:30 PM for the ride over.
