With the guidance of our caring staff and volunteers\, they’ll be encouraged to explore their ideas and bring their unique visions to life. Our team is dedicated to supporting and inspiring the kids every step of the way\, ensuring they feel empowered to create something truly special while having a blast. \nDue to space limitations\, we can only accommodate a certain number of kids in our facility. We understand that younger ones in the neighborhood get excited about our projects\, and while we wish we could welcome them all\, our capacity is limited. However\, we promise to do our best to include them in outdoor activities or local field trips when possible. We understand that younger ones in the neighborhood get excited about our projects\, and while we wish we could welcome them all\, our capacity is limited. However\, we promise to do our best to include them in outdoor activities or local field trips when possible. DESCRIPTION:What’s happening at Just One after school programs in October?\nWere diving into Halloween-themed projects! \nOctober 1st to 18th Monday to Friday\, 3 pm to 6 pm\, kids will have a blast while getting to know our staff\, interns\, and community supporters. These activities will lead up to our Annual Youth-Run Haunted House! \nEach day\, the kids will have countless opportunities to dive into a variety of exciting Halloween-themed projects. From spooky crafts to haunted house decorations\, there will be no shortage of activities to spark their creativity. With the guidance of our caring staff and volunteers\, they’ll be encouraged to explore their ideas and bring their unique visions to life. Our team is dedicated to supporting and inspiring the kids every step of the way\, ensuring they feel empowered to create something truly special while having a blast. \nDue to space limitations\, we can only accommodate a certain number of kids in our facility. We understand that younger ones in the neighborhood get excited about our projects\, and while we wish we could welcome them all\, our capacity is limited. However\, we promise to do our best to include them in outdoor activities or local field trips when possible. Though we might have to gently let the little ones under 10 know that\, at this time\, we aren’t able to accommodate their awesome (yet shorter) attention spans\, we really wish we could! We sincerely appreciate the understanding and support from all our Just One members. \nAfter the 18th:\nBetween October 21st and 24th\, 3pm to 6pm\, the four days leading up to our Annual Haunted House\, we’ll be working with youth ages 13 and older to set up the haunted house. During this time\, the facility will be transformed into a spooky maze\, complete with tarps and props. Due to the setup\, our space will be even more limited\, restricting us to a smaller group during this phase. Our After School Programs include fun free activities while offering parents peace of mind by providing a safe and supportive place for children and youth to engage in activities that promote and develop positive values\, community contribution\, and explore career development. \nWe strive to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.\nBy partnering with parents/guardians\, volunteers and others in the community we hope for each child in our programs to achieve: \n-Higher aspirations\, greater confidence\, and healthy relationships\n-Avoidance of risky behaviors\n-Educational success \nSo rather its coming to Just One to hang out with positive role models or friends\, all are welcomed!\nInterested in being a part of Just One future programs?
